PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I use this assignment during my Industrialization unit when we study big business leaders like Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller. This activity prompts students to think about how a big business leader like Sam Walton- owner of Walmart- could be perceived as both a robber baron and a captain of industry. Students read two articles with dissenting opinions and answer reflection questions. They must then answer a final reflection paragraph where they choose a side.
