Description

This guide provides analysis and comprehension questions for a variety of poems by Walt Whitman. All poems can be found online or in the Elements of Literature Text by Holt. Final activity asks students to create a poem of their own using Whitman's style from "I Hear America Singing." Great for an introductory activity or for a homework assignment.
