This fun number sense activity can be used for "Number of the Day" or can be played as a class game where students investigate each others numbers using the clues on the Wanted poster. Students represent their number using drawings, number sentences, tally marks, base ten drawings, and classify their number as odd or even. It's a real number workout!
The variety of "Wanted" worksheets contained in this package allow for differentiation for special needs and advanced students. The third worksheet allows a space for students to create their own "clues" to allow for students who are able to see number relationships beyond their years.
"Wanted" would also be a great activity for students to work on with their parents to assist parents in understanding the many ways a number can be represented. These posters also create a great interactive bulletin board to help everyone learn to represent numbers in a variety of ways.
