Students research a famous French speaking person. They then create a wanted poster. On the poster they replace the face of the famous person with their own. The reward cannot be money. The reward has to be something that shows that the student understands why that person is famous. For example, the reward for Coco Chanel might be five evening gowns. I usually have students complete the project in time to put the posters on the bulletin board for Open House. The parents love it!
