I used this activity to introduce my students to examples of Wants and Needs, as part of our Economics unit.
Students worked in pairs, and each pair got one laminated sheet. They wrote their answers on the sheet in dry-erase marker. When they were finished and we went over the answers, they erased their sheets so they could be reused with the following class.
Note: some of the items may be debatable. When we got to one of these I let students explain their reasoning, after which I explained what I categorized the item as, and why.
