It is important for students to be able to classify warm and cool colors. The first part of this PowerPoint lists the warm colors and explains them in terminology that will make sense to young elementary students. Additionally, there are step-by-step instructions on how to draw a camel, so there is no prep necessary and even non-art teachers can lead this lesson! Students will follow along with the directions and then color in their pictures only use warm colors, which will help them remember how to classify the warm colors.
This download includes a PowerPoint and a PDF lesson plan.
