"Wash Your Hands" mp3 Song and Lyrics
Teach children to wash their hands with this fun, educational "edu-tune!"
Act "Wash Your Hands" out with your children, write words on a chart and use it as a shared reading activity, or play the music as you hand out antibacterial soap.
Use the song as a daily reminder to wash hands--and also to teach important information. In a simple lesson, ask children, "Why do you think washing hands is important?" Write down students' ideas. Next, play the song. Write down what children have learned.
All of my songs include specific information that children need to know about a topic. For instance, in this song, children learn:
-We should cover our mouths when we cough, when we sneeze, after we go to the restroom, and before we eat.
-We should use warm water and soap.
-We should remember to scrub between our fingers, under our fingernails, and on top of our hands.
-Germs can spread from one person to another when we both touch the same thing, such as a chair.
This song is part of my "Start the Day With a Smile" CD, available here
