Washington and Adams' Resources:
This resource includes 10 interactive notes pages that cover the Washington and Adams' Presidencies. Vocabulary pages can be used two ways: Copy and distribute both the vocabulary page and the definition page for students to cut out and glue in notebooks or copy only the vocabulary page for students to cut out, glue in notebooks and write the definitions.
This resource also includes an activity page in which students write a mock conversation between Hamilton and Jefferson illustrating their differing political viewpoints which led to our nation's first political parties.
Also included is an interactive notebook page focusing on the unique challenges Washington faced as our nation's first elected President. Links to primary sources are included and an interactive notebook page focusing on Washington's Farewell Address.

George Washington LinkedIn Profile Activity:
In this activity, students will create a LinkedIn profile for George Washington.
INSTRUCTIONS: Create a LinkedIn Profile for George Washington using the link provided for biographical details such as education, experience, skills, interests, and accomplishments. You may also use the link provided as a resource to gather names of “connections” and contemporaries who would have likely written/provided “endorsements” for Washington. As you review the link below, look for clues that might shed light on “Ads” that would likely appear on Washington’s LinkedIn page.
If time permits, form hiring committees (small groups of 3 or 4). Randomly distribute Washington’s LinkedIn profiles to each group to review. As a group, discuss weather you would hire Washington for one of the following positions: (each group may choose their own position to hire for): A) Professor B)Writer C) President of a Non-Profit Organization D) Other _____________.
