Product Description

This is an incredible assignment that allows the students to watch the ending of the two version of Henry James' novel Washington Square and develop a paper that examines the purpose of the filmaker in deviating from the original novel. The two film versions used are readily available on netflix and are referenced on the assignment. The students will also be required to create their own alternative ending with a statement of purpose that examines their creative choices. Rubrics are included.
