Students review key people and events from the presidencies of George Washington and John Adams (the early Republic) by reading 4 outline style pages of reference information and completing the following tasks: answering 20 academic questions, responding visual and written creative tasks, and completing 2 dialogue activities representing different points of view and people. The answers are included where appropriate. This can be completed individually, in pairs, or in small groups. This would be great for a sub or as a test review! See the preview for a closer look!
Topics covered include Washington's cabinet, the Whiskey Rebellion, Judiciary Act of 1789, Washington's Farewell Address, the emergence of political parties, the election 1796, the XYZ Affair, the Alien and Sedition Acts, Marbury v. Madison, and MORE!
