Students have more fun when they are engaged and can put themselves in the history. To help, I created this fun activity to go with Washington's Cabinet:
The students read two resumes (biographies) of candidates for each of Washington's cabinet positions: Secretary of War, Secretary of Treasury, Secretary of State and Attorney General. They must decide which is better qualified and explain why.
This activity will help students understand Washington's leadership qualities, the people on his cabinet, and the students will read 8 biographies at the same time!
