Inspired by the Orton-Gillingham approach! A fun way to practice reading and dividing v/cv words!
Great addition to your literacy centers, phonics lessons, and/or tutorial sessions!
Print on card stock, laminate, and cut. Lay cards upside down, flipping cards over one at a time. Each player takes turns reading the word (or dividing with an expo marker). If a tiger is flipped over, the first player to say RAWR! wins that tiger cards and the cards underneath. The player with the most cards at the end wins!
