I teach middle school science, and every day someone is flipping something different in my room. From water bottles, to white board markers and everything in between, my kiddos are curious about what they can and cannot flip! So....what about WHAT you can and cannot put inside that water bottle-besides water? So we tried jelly beans! The kids couldn't believe I was actually allowing them to do this in class. (Because they know how I annoyed it makes me!) But of course we had to tie it to science skills, so we added some measuring and some math. Throw in a video clip on the science behind water bottle flipping, and you will have some excited kids! The class period FLIES by!
