Project and bulletin board pictures forthcoming! Project takes about 90-150 minutes depending on student's ability level, prior knowledge, and size of diagram.
This project requires students to create a labeled diagram, define environmental processes, and answer scaffolded DOK questions to demonstrate understanding of Earth's water cycle. Students are assessed on 1. clarity of diagram, 2. labels on diagram, 3. short answer responses, and 4. group effort.
Three student roles are defined. Student roles are 1. illustration, 2. labels and defintions, and 3. short answer responses.
*MS-ESS2-4. Develop a model to describe the cycling of water through Earth's systems driven by energy from the sun and the force of gravity.
