Description

Water Cycle Sorting is an engaging review activity to help students distinguish between three confusing water cycle terms: precipitation, condensation, and evaporation. Students work with a partner or with a cooperative learning team to sort 16 task cards with real-world examples of those concepts into categories. Finally, students complete a review activity or quiz independently to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts. Student directions, a sorting mat, task cards, a 10-item quiz, and an answer keys are included.
