This activity has been designed to enhance student understanding of The Water Cycle. It can be used as both a direct instruction activity or as skill practice at a learning station.
I have used these instructional pieces in teaching a unit on The Water Cycle in which I present students with the paired articles for close reading. As follow-up, students complete the comprehension check and Water Cycle labeling activity that accompanies the paired text.
The document also includes a flip-tab chart for either text, in which students document text evidence that they have found to address the text based question. I have students paste this in their science journal.
