can be a fun way to help students become familiar with their water cycle science terms*. Both puzzles include a simple drawing of a water cycle you could have student simply color or label and then color. Choose from drawings with or without labels.

*water cycle - water moving from the Earth’s surface to the atmosphere and back
atmosphere - the envelope of gases surrounding a planet
condensation - water vapor changing from a gas to liquid water
crystallization - liquid water freezing to solid ice crystals (snow)
evaporation - water at the surface changing from a liquid to a gas
precipitation - water that falls to Earth as rain, snow, hail, or sleet
respiration - animals exhale water vapor and carbon dioxide
runoff - water that runs off the ground surface into streams and lakes
transpiration - water vapor given off by the leaves of a plant
