An instruction page that you can hand-out to your students.
Perfect if you are introducing experimental watercolor techniques such as using salt, rice, or resist methods.
This hand-out will guide art students through practicing five common watercolor techniques, and encourage them to experiment (includes a box with some sample ideas and vocabulary terms in the middle of the page).
The five techniques are:
1. Wet on wet
2. Wet on dry
3. Dry on wet
4. Dry on dry
5. A wash over stripes of wet/dry paper (explain this thoroughly; many of my students got confused because they spaced out during the demo)
Made in Microsoft Word so you can edit it to suit your needs.
Written for high school students.
