Spin a Shape or Number Directions:
Print colored copies on cardstock and laminate. Students will spin the shape with a paperclip and pencil and either stamp, put a manipulative, or smash play-doh on to the same shape. Black and white copies can be bingo stamped or colored.
Number Sense Matching p. 13-22
Print large numbers on cardstock and laminate. Cut numbers apart. Smaller cards will also need to be printed on cardstock and laminated. Cut apart. Students will match the tally, ten frame, etc. to the correct number.
Sensory Bin Match Up 1-20 p. 23-26
Print cards on cardstock and laminate. Cut apart cards. Place in your choice of sensory tub (noodles, rice, sand). Students will match up the number to the number of watermelon seeds. Students can clip them with a clothespin for the match.
Counting Out Watermelon Seeds p. 27-31
Direction: Print on cardstock and laminate cards. Cut apart. Students will work on one to one correspondence. You can use raisins, pom poms, or play-doh to practice one to one correspondence. If using pom-poms or raisins you can use tongs to also practice their fine motor.
