Ways of Knowing - this is the second in a series of three PowerPoint presentations designed to introduce the components of The Theory of Knowledge. This particular presentation along with the printable workbook looks at how we know what we know. The conventional understanding achieved through things like reason and language is balanced with what we understand and appreciate through areas like faith and intuition. Memory and imagination are also explored as are emotion and perception. Each slide has a sound track and the color and movement engages as do the YouTube links that have been chosen for relevance. Much of the foundation work in preparing for the subject has been done and this should serve to complement the areas of interest and the material brought to class by the ToK teacher.
