This resource is perfect for those few weeks leading up to Christmas when you have to continue teaching but all the students want to do is focus on the upcoming holiday! This way to you can trick them into practicing skills while still maintaining certain a level of whimsy and fun.
This craftivity gives each student a Christmas tree with a 10 on the star. They will decorate their tree with ornaments. On each ornament, they are to write an equation that equals ten. Differentiation is a breeze with this because you can require any amount of ornaments (equations) you feel is appropriate. Also, can easily focus on adding, subtracting or both!
