This makes a great bulletin board set while teaching students the different ways to help save the earth. It integrates both Math and Science and is very engaging for your visual and hands-on learners.
Students will complete a whole group graphing activity.
Use the attached worksheet to tally votes prior to completing the whole group graphing activity.
Each students colors one picture (boy for a boy, and girl for a girl). Then they place the picture on the graph to complete a picture graph.
Upon completion students will color the bar graph on their page to match the whole group picture graph. Then, they will analyze the graph by answering questions provided on the worksheet.
-coloring pictures (boy and girl) for students to color
-graph labels for whole group graph
- student worksheet with tally table, bar graph, and analyzing questions
***The earth is easy to make. Just take blue bulletin board paper. I used 2 pieces to make the top and bottom of the earth. Then cut out green bulletin board pieces to resemble the continents. :)
Enjoy and have fun with this! Your students will love this activity!
