In this PowerPoint your students will review melodic and rhythmic concepts while working on their music memory.

First, they will review the song "We Are Dancing In the Forest"
* singing on text
* singing on rhythm syllables
* singing on solfége

Then they will analyze and label the phrasic form of the rhythm and melody.

This is great for
* reviewing rhythms: ta & ti-ti
* reviewing solfége: so-mi-la

Then, slide by slide a naughty wolf comes alont and swipes a beat or two (and even three!), thus removing those specifc beats from the song. This continues until all the beats of the song are gone and the students are singing the song from memory. On each slide the students are challenged to sing the song in its entirety, including the missing beats. The students LOVE this activity, all the while they are building their musical memory and inner-hearing skills.

** the disappearing game appears in two versions: one without the form icons and one with the form icons. The form icons will help aide music memory when students are first learning this game.

Ths song notation and singing game directions are also included!
