Directly compare two objects with a measurable difference. For example, directly compare the heights of two children and describe one child as taller/shorter.

Learner Objective: Students will compare two or more objects by length, width, and/or height.
Educational Value: Students will first identify that a ruler is a tool used to measure length, width, and height. Students will then compare the attributes of referenced objects in order to understand and use terms such as shorter/longer, wider/narrower etc.
Application: Students will understand the meaning of measurement and recognize the number of units it takes to measure an object is related to the size of the object.
