Description
This slideshow guides students through an analysis of Gwendolyn Brooks' poem, "We Real Cool." It is designed to cultivate advanced analysis by making connections and insights as they explore the stanza by stanza, followed by detailed examples poem analysis and expert analysis on the poem. This also comes with a teacher guide on the slideshow and an interactive, online version of the notes in the form of Google Slides. This lesson is designed to take 45 minutes, not including the suggested writing assignment. Expansion ideas are also included along with lesson objectives.
