This product listing is for a Printable copy of two tools useful in getting students to take an active role in eliminating bullying. These tools are helpful in expanding youths’ fundamental understanding of bullying, highlighting others’ rights to be free of such behavior and empowering students. These “We Say No To Bullies” resources consist of:
-- “I Agree to Say “NO!” to Bullying”
-- “Anti-Bullying Pact”
I Agree to Say “NO!” to Bullying is a contract between student and teacher. This contract is an individual commitment by the student to play no role in bullying and to responsibly report any acts of bullying the student witnesses. This document also defines bullying, which, of course, includes cyberbullying so the student gets clarity on what behavior is unacceptable. I Agree to Say “NO!” to Bullying is a two-page document.
Anti-Bullying Pact is an acknowledgement of all members of a class, as one student body, to honor others. This Pact is a Pledge of all students in a class to act as one body to respect the rights of others to be free of bullying behavior. This Pact also acknowledges specific personal differences will not be used to target others for bullying. I Agree to Say “NO!” to Bullying is a four-page document of which the latter two pages are signature pages, providing ample space for every student’s signature.
These tools serve as great fundamental instruments introducing the basics of bullying. Also, at the core of I Agree to Say “NO!” to Bullying and Anti-Bullying Pact are important underlying lessons that include respecting others, working together to resolve issues and learning accountability.
Better understanding and appreciation of what bullying is and what it does to others deserve a hands-on approach – by all. This, certainly, includes those who know it best – our youth. Get them involved!
These tools were created for 9 – 12 grade levels. There is more to come. Please follow me to receive notification of future products regarding bullying!
