This document accompanies the book, We All Went on Safari, by Laurie Krebs and Julia Cairns. We used this book during our traveling unit in preschool as we studied Africa, as well as other countries, and how we use wheels to travel from place to place.
Students can practice the names of the animals, indicate where they live (land, air, water, etc.), as well as practice the sentence frame: Yo fui a safari y yo vi _____/I went on safari and I saw _____.
The dots on the side of the page are to practice multisyllabic words and phrases, and therefore increasing overall speech intelligibility. The dots also aid in increasing number of words produced in a phrase or sentence.
