Included: "We talked about a rule today" page, "Awesome behavior" page, and directions for use.
As a part of my positive classroom management, I post our classroom rules and each child is responsible for following them. We spend time in the beginning of the year modeling these rules and clarifying what is expected from everyone. If a student is having difficulties following a rule, we together fill out this page and come up with a plan to improve. Sending it home helps communication between teacher and parent throughout the year so that there are no surprises when it comes to classroom behavior. The “Awesome Behavior” encourages positive communication between school and home.
