These weather charts will be very helpful during your classroom circle or meeting time. When I was teaching first grade, I printed off about 200 of these at the start of the year and had them ready to go on the first day of each month. Students would keep these charts in their morning meeting folder. I made a 2 or 3 for myself that were laminated so that I could use a dry erase marker on the chart and leave it posted in our calendar area for the entire month. As the month went on, I would ask students questions about the graph that we were creating. At the start of the year, the questions would be simple, like "How many days have we had rain this month?" Toward the end of the year, I would ask students more difficult questions, like "How many more sunny days than rainy days?"
