In this emergent reader, we've taken some of our favorite weather art and paired with predictable sentences. This emergent reader is perfect for all of our weather units this spring!
We've include both a color and black and white version of this emergent reader. There are two books on each page. So, simply print, cut in half, and staple!
This ER focuses on sight words: it, is, and outside.
The weather words and images included are: sunny, windy, rainy, partly sunny, foggy, cloudy, snowy, stormy, hot, and cold.
Each page has a predictable sentence structure:
It is ______________outside.
The books have 11 pages each, including the cover page that has an area for students to write their names.
We hope this emergent reader has your students excited about learning weather words and sight words is/it/outside! They will gain confidence as new readers!
