This is a great project for students who are both independent learners and those that need... shall we say a lot of structure.
Part of my 'Earth Breakers Institute' series of projects, this gives students some role-play and a sense of purpose in regards to the project. The goal is to take some pre-existing and/or already touched upon information on Weather and the basics of making a hypothesis (weather prediction).
The students would then work on making their own weather predictions for a week (obviously that can be changed). The result would be a weather report that they can then compare to the real weather data taken for the week that they chose. This is super fun and brings a lot of creativity to the front.
There are hyperlinks in the document that send students to gov funded websites (also, no ads) that should be the only two websites they use.
