If you've taught air pressure and weather fronts before, then you know it is probably one of the toughest concepts students have to grasp in science. This sort allows students to get more familiar with these terms. Students will have to:
-identify air pressure (high and low pressure) and basic weather front symbols (cold, warm, and stationary front)
-match air pressure and weather front descriptions
-interpret a various scenarios and correctly match them under the correct header
This would make a great in class practice, homework assignment, or assessment.
This practice directly supports Virginia Science SOL 4.6.
