A novel method for engaging students in the study of weather instruments when you want them to become familiar with them but do not have the time and/or materials to have them build each. Students are introduced to websites and guided by questions where they explore each of several basic weather instruments. They also have a brief lab experience with sling psychrometers. Atmospheric moisture is studied with the sling psychrometers. This is a good prep exercise for the relative humidity primer also posted here.
