Calling all weather watchers!! It is time to document your weather each day with that wacky weather raindrop, Plop! Your students will have fun writing down each day, circling the name of the day, drawing a picture of the weather for that day, graphing the temperature (with a red crayon, marker, or colored pencil, of course), writing it down, listing the season, circling the best adjective to describe the weather (on a broad sense), AND (pant, pant, out of breath) write even MORE adjectives to describe what the weather looks like, feels, like, smells like, and maybe even...tastes like? Print in black and white or in color; and print as many as will fit in your weather journal. Just use an 11x17 piece of colored construction paper, or two 8.5x11 pieces of colored construction to place on the cover and back of the journal. Your students can design however they want -- just entitle it, "Maisy's Weather Journal" (but you know...WITH the student's correct name!)
