Product Description
Weather Note taker/ Booklet

This booklet is meant to be used with your science
program on the topic of weather. Students can
use information from their science resources,
websites, and videos to complete the note taker.

Topics include:
What causes weather?
Weather factors
What is the difference between weather and climate?
How do clouds form?
Four main types of clouds (stratus, cirrus, cumulus, and nimbus or (cumulonimbus)
Weather instruments (thermometer, barometer, anemometer, wind vane, rain gauge)
The water cycle (evaporation, condensation, precipitation)

Teachers can also use it as a way to help students organize
the information they are learning about the weather. It would make a great study tool to help students prepare for their end of unit assessment on the
topic. It could also be used as a form of assessment.

I have provided an answer key based on information I
will be using with my class (pages 13-20). Curriculum varies from
country to country so you may wish to make changes.
Please email me at janefeener@gmail.com if you have
any questions. Check the preview to see what is included.

To create the booklet:
Print pages 4-11
Cut each page in half and place in the correct order.
Staple on the left hand side, and you’re ready to
start learning about the weather.

Other weather products in my store include:

Weather Lapbook and Foldable Fun.
Wild Weather Poster Project.
