This three part project was originally created to cover the 4th Grade standards for Weather and Climate, but is versatile and can be used for multiple grade levels! In part 1, students are asked to match important vocabulary terms. In part 2, students are asked to choose a weather phenomena (tornado, hurricane, thunderstorm, earthquake) and then complete research questions on the chosen topic. In part 3, students are given 5 choices of projects to create to display their knowledge. Project choices include a poster, creating a survival kit, and more! Each choice for part 3 includes a rubric for the student to use for reference and the teacher to use for grading! This project will hold your students' attention while assessing their knowledge of important weather and climate standards!
