In working to incorporate the new NGSS in my Kindergarten room, I've created this file that we've used to make daily weather observations and graph weather changes over the week.
After learning and reviewing weather terms used in this file, students help make daily weather observations and graph each day on the chart. At the end of the week, you can talk about the changes in that week and how those changes might impact the earth. I would complete one week's observations and then after some lessons about how weather can change the earth (erosion, weathering, etc) complete another week of weather observations to show how the change in weather, or different weather patterns will affect our globe.
This file is intended to be printed like a booklet. I printed 5 pages of the "weather station observations" and one "weekly graph" for each child. You can then decide if you'd just like to have them stapled together, or put in a folder to organize the worksheets through the week.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns or if you'd like to see something else included in this file!
