Included in this unit:
-“My Weather Words” booklet (19 words plus one blank template). Students trace the weather words as well as write the word independently. Each word has a graphic and a place for students to add their own drawings.
-“My Weather Journal” booklet - Students track the weather for a week (or more). Each page has students tracing the day of the week, recording the temperature as well as a space for words and/or pictures to illustrate that day’s weather. (These pages can stand alone or be created into a booklet.)
-My Favorite - A half sheet asking students to draw their favorite type of weather and their favorite activity to do during their favorite type of weather. (This page can be included in the “My Weather Journal” booklet.)
-Four Seasons - These sheet has students tracing the season words and decorating trees to match each season.
-Our Favorite Season & Our Favorite Weather - Students record each student’s favorite to create a bar graph showing the favorite season and weather type of the class.
-Learning About Temperature - Students predict and then record the actual temperature in three areas (inside, outside in the shade, and outside in the sun) allowing for comparisons.
-Mini Word Wall Cards - 19 cards included with graphics
-Raindrop Addition & Subtraction - Students practice adding and subtracting within 10.
