I am so excited for my first interactive notebook to be posted on TpT!
I am a huge user of interactive notebooks. I've purchased many on here and have never really felt like they have had everything I've needed, so I've always had to add my own stuff. As a 6th grade science teacher in NYC, I find that unfortunately, science is one of the most neglected subjects in elementary school. I get it! There just isn't enough time in the day and most of that time is devoted towards test prepping. SO, I included everything in this notebook bundle I felt was necessary, including things from elementary that technically should be a review. You can pick and choose what you want to use, but I have included the following topics on weather and air- its a unit I could spent months on and do so much more with, but I feel like this truly hits the core topics.
In this 104 page download, I have included:
climate vs. weather- venn diagram, cut and paste statements and an exit ticket
precipitation graphic organizer
the water cycle- vocabulary, review of the three states of matter to introduce or reintroduce condensation and evaporation, the water cycle diagram with fill ins and word bank
types of clouds- the three main types of clouds
