This product is great for teaching weather and seasons in French. It includes a vocab list with pictures and a vocab list with English translations; there's a power point that matches the vocab list with pictures that you can use to present the vocabulary. There's also a weather rhyming power point to practice vocabulary: ask the students "quel temps fait-il à.." and then click or touch a city on the map of France and a picture clue will slowly start to apear and students should find the weather expression that rhymes with the name of the city, and then the word will appear. For example; quel temps fait-il à Evreux? Il pleut. Also included is a crossword puzzle with clues written in French that beginning/level 1 students can understand. I like to use TPR to teach weather and seasons expressions, so I've included a document that describes gestures for each vocabulary term (TPR: teach the gestures then you say vocab terms and students do the gestures). There's a partner activity that involves writing, saying, and drawing weather expressions on a map of France. Finally, for differentiation/extension (for students who complete crossword puzzle quickly) there's a list of supplemental weather vocabulary (terminology that is actually used in French weather forecasts), students can watch French weather forecasts and listen for the terms on the supplemental list..
