Kids love talking about the weather!
Ask any child what the weather is like today and they will turn their heads outside!
These 6 pages (including the cover page) is a interactive weather board and takes only 4 steps to create!
A fun way to learn about the weather.
* Print and cut the blocks. (nl. sunny, windy, stormy, rainy, foggy, snowy, cloudy)
* Laminate them (optional). Stick them onto your wall. Low enough so the children can reach.
* Glue the pointer (The block that says today is...) onto a washing peg. This makes the peg movable.
* Stick onto your wall. Low enough for the kids to reach.
Ask the kids what the weather is like today and let them pick the box that best describes the weather they see outside.
Print out the children's names and stick them in a line onto the wall next to the weather board. Move down the line to make sure each child gets a turn each day to pick the weather status. This helps teach kids to learn to wait for their turns in a fun way.
For the creative teacher:
Glue the blocks onto a fabric background. Stitch or glue a ribbon onto the top so the board can hang from a nail or thumbtack.
Use valcro or glue for the blocks to stick onto the fabric.
Hang your "fabric ribbon weather board" from. Add kids and Enjoy.
