This is a Reader's Theater for 3 students. It follows the curriculum for science in 5th grade but it is also a good topic opener for any other grade that is going to be studying weathering or erosion. In this script Weathering and Erosion are compared to superheroes. This Reader's Theater is designed to tie in Language Arts and Science. My goal was to tie in some science with language arts. / El Hombre Desgaste y El Chico Erosión están jugando un juego de superhéroes, pero la chica no cree que el Hombre Desgaste y El Chico Erosión sean realmente una especie de superhéroes.
We write small group reader's theaters so they will work better in centers and to avoid having long wait times between student's lines. Wait time is not reading time and often turns into off task behavior time. Small group reader's theater helps to get students reading more and encourages even reluctant readers to practice fluency.
Our names are Julio Lopez and Melanie Whitesides but our store name is LosDosMaestros and we hope that your students enjoy this script as much as ours did.
We love tying in multiple subjects with reading and have done so. If you like this script please check out some of our others. Most of our scripts are black and white with only a border or an occasional colored picture on front so that they can be photo copied easier for your students. Please let us know what you think.
If you would like the script in English please visit Wonbyone's store.
