PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A double set of 16 questions for review of concepts covered in soil formation and erosion unit. It is a double set due to differentiation of questions. The 16 questions are the same in both sets, but for some, they are open-ended or fill in, while the others are multiple choice or have other hints added for arriving at the same answers. I print them out, cut them apart, and laminate them. I split the class into 2 groups - telling them it is so thay do not have to wait or fight over question cards, but really they are split based on ability - they then pick and answer the cards one at a time until they have answered them all.
Topics covered on questions include: soil profiles and humus, mechanical and chemical weathering, rates of weathering, mass movements, erosion, farming practices (related to lessening erosion), runoff and drainage basins...
