This fun-filled lesson encourages students to explore the effects of wind on the weathering of rocks. Students will participate in a fun, hands-on science investigations that proves rocks can be eroded/weathered by wind. Your kiddos are sure to love this activity. In this lesson students will use sidewalk chalk and salt to demonstrate how the wind can wear away tiny particles from a rock.
