Your students will enjoy being "web detectives" with this web scavenger hunt activity about Anne Frank. Students will use the provided website to look up the answers to twenty questions about this inspirational girl.
Space is provided under each question for students to write the answers in their own words. An answer key is also provided for teacher convenience or to allow students to check their own work.
This activity works well independently or with a partner. It also makes a great literacy/computer station activity.
After your students have completed the web search, they could then complete the graphic organizer to show facts they have learned in a decorative way. Two different organizers are provided.
On these organizers, students could:
a. record facts they learned in their web search
b. record facts NOT on the question sheet (other facts)
c. record facts they found most interesting
d. record facts from a different website provided by you
The graphic organizers can be colored and make a great bulletin board display when done!
Please see the thumbnails for sample pages.
