Product Description
Over 60% of English words are of Greek or Latin origin. When students study Greek and Latin roots they learn more about English. Becoming familiar with one root will help students solve new words associated with that root. The end result? Students who study Greek and Latin roots become better readers!

This resource is a 5-week unit. Students will study one root or affix each week. In my own classroom, I introduce a new root or affix each Wednesday.

Included in this resource is a practice page, a quiz, and word cards for each week, as well as a unit test to be administered at the end of 5 weeks. Answer keys provided for all activities.

Unit 1 includes:
**man/manu (practice page, quiz, root and word cards)
**scrib/script (practice page, quiz, root and word cards)
**miss/mit (practice page, quiz, root and word cards)
**cred (practice page, quiz, root and word cards)
**equ/equi (practice page, quiz, root and word cards)
**cumulative unit test covering all 5 roots
