With everything else there is to do, the shaping of the amazingly complex and fun minds in the room, as well as the creativity flowing out of teacher's daily, teaching can be exhausting and fun and messy! Lesson planning, however, should not be messy!
This lesson planning form I have developed is my rock in the storm, the sun to my shine, and the simplicity in the chaos that can be the school year. I use this form to turn in my lesson plans weekly!
Here's why I love it, and why I think you will too!
-On one sheet of paper I have everything I need: all the lessons for my 6 different classes, the TEKS (or whatever standards you may have) I am covering, and the things I need to do or assign.
-It is a great way to stay organized and on top of busy weeks!
-If something doesn't get covered like I plan, it is easy to edit and add to the following week.
-By keeping a copy on the computer, they are easy to search, change, duplicate, and archive!
-All of plans combined are easy to put together in one single, simple, and organized place.
-Plus, while it is simple to fill out, it looks super professional and put together to turn into the administrator or add to a portfolio!
-Tables in Word make it easy to use: formatting friendly, appealing, organized, and easy to edit!
Get your organizing this school year started right!
