My students love using these after the break. Many "couldn't" remember andy Spanish! Having the questions posted gave everyone a chance to participate since they could check the board for their activities.
Description
Weekend chat hack:
Post these prompts on the board and have students write their name under what they did over the weekend as they enter before you begin your lesson.
Then you can discuss what they did over the weekend based on the names under the activities. You can compare and contrast. You can go beyond the activity and ask where, with whom, for how long, etc. You can create a story if it comes up.
Later you could write about it in a write and discuss activity. There is always the option of doing a quick quiz as well.
