This is a worksheet based off the idea of work boxes for students. It includes 5 blank boxes next to each subject, with spaces to fill in extra subjects if needed. Each box can be used to either fill in the assignment for the student to mark it out when it is accomplished, or for the student to simply mark that he/she has done that many assignments within the week.
The worksheet helps students stay organized by giving them an interactive visual list of subjects and assignments that need to be accomplished by the end of the week. It prevents the need for a parent's constant attention to detail and gives the parent a quick visual to see the student's progress.
It is also helpful in teaching the student independence and responsibility and aids in developing organizational skills.
How I use it:
My children understand they must do at least one lesson a day in most subjects. For subjects they must work on every day, they must have 5 boxes checked off by the end of the week. For other subjects they may work on only one or two days a week, they must have that number of boxes checked off by the end of the week.
