In my classroom, we have a behavior board. All students start the day on Ready To Learn. They can move up to Good Day, Great Job, and Outstanding. They can also move down to Oops, Double Oops, and Parent Contact. Students can move up and down the behavior board throughout the day. I attach this behavior chart to their agendas every Monday. At the end of each day, I write down the behavior they ended the day on and their parents sign it each night. It serves as a quick communication between me and the parents. There is also a spot to write in any work that the student is missing so the parents are aware.
